👨‍🎓Since the pandemic hit the U.S. hard in March, the economy has lost 13 million jobs, many recent college graduates have been sidelined and some job seekers have had offers rescinded. Many employers are still recruiting, but the hiring landscape has changed drastically. Here’s how to get your foot in the door—and stand out.

🥇1. Work your connections.
Now could be a great time to catch up with former co-workers. People are more willing to be helpful, and you have to be willing to rely on others. LinkedIn says applicants on the platform are nearly three times as likely to get a job at a company where they have a connection. If you are still trying to build your network, consider virtual events through industry networking groups, many of which are offering free webinars.

🍀2. Have clear and realistic goals.
Having a clear idea of what job you want can make conversations with recruiters easier and help you to focus on the areas where you are most likely to be successful. If you are considering a job that offers remote working, check whether the employer has confirmed that the role is fully remote, and will remain that way, otherwise be prepared to return to the office at least occasionally.

2. 設定明確且實際的目標
明確瞭解你想要什麼工作，可以幫助你更容易和招募人員溝通交流，也能幫助聚焦在你最能獲得成功的領域。如果你正在考慮一份遠距工作的機會，記得確認這是不是永久遠距工作的職位，否則請做好偶爾要回到辦公室工作的準備。
